h2 server problems

hey im a newbie in this thing.

so ive created my transformation flow, then i want to add a connection to a database. ive followed the tutorial from the getstarted.pdf, the one that uses H2, localhost, 9092, etc.
unfortunately, when i tested it, it failed.
the 2 packages that ive downloaded are BI server and kettle. ive extract the packages, ran the start-pentaho.bat from the bi server folder, and then ran the spoon.bat

is there something that im missing? please do help
