Installing Pentaho 6.1 CE

Hi I have been trying to install Pentaho DI and BA with no success. All instructions that I find say to execute: pentaho-business-analytics-6.1.0-x64.bin or pdi-6.1.0-x64.bin in linux. But I dont seem to be able to find such a file. All the files that I get are .sh, .bat, etc from the .zip. Not even a .exe file to do it in windows. I'm new to pentaho, (at this point a very frustrating start) and thinking of moving on to something else since I cannot move from the installation stage.
Appreciate any help you can provide. (what am I missing?)
