Not able to use Query Component in Pentaho 6.1

Hi,
I had a dashboard created on pentaho 4.8 community version(Properly working on 4.8),which does not work properly on 6.1 community version.
I found that Query Component is not working properly.
I have used Query Component which stores result of mysql query in a simple parameter.
But when I print value of simple parameter.I get value as undefined.
Please help!!
