PDI Execute PRD to Excel missing formatting

Hi,
I haven't been able to find out if anyone else is having the same problem so I thought I'd ask.
We're using PDI 4.4.0 to automatically run some PRD 3.9.1 reports. If PDI runs with a PDF output everything looks fine. If we run to Excel (some of our users just can't live without their reports in a spreadsheet) the data is placed on the report, but the formatting for the numbers is missing. We, for example, display percentages on the report. In the PDF output they are formatted correctly but in the Excel output they are just decimal numbers. Running the prpt file either in User Console or directly in PRD to Excel produces the report with the correct formatting.

Our system is set up using Linux servers so we are scheduling the PDI jobs using the CRON service. I've directly executed the job using the kitchen.sh but it has the same problem with the formatting so I don't think it's a issue from using CRON to schedule things.

Are we missing a set up somewhere to produce properly formatted Excel reports from PDI or is this a known problem executing PRD to Excel from PDI?
