Executing a transformation from pentaho report

I do have a transformation (written in PDI) which reads data from MySQL and writes to a formatted excel file. This transformation needs to be executed from pentaho reports, with the existing functionality of transformation. Also wants to pass two date values as parameters to transformation from the report

How can I achieve this ?
