Converting Select Component to Slider

Hi All,

Is there an easy way to convert CDE Select Component to Slider?
i.e., if I have a year range from 2010 to 2015 in the drop down list, is there an easy way of converting it to slider?

This can be achieved by using either JQuery UI Slider or maybe dojo dijit form Slider.

If conversion is not an option, what are the available options to have a slider components for CDE?
