Connection to Hypersonic file-based db failing

Hello,

How is a file-based hypersonic database connection configured in Report Designer 3.9.1-GA?

i am working through chapter 3 of "Pentaho Reporting 3.5 for Java Developers" and have trouble setting up the connection to the file-based hypersonic database on my localhost. As indicated in the book i configure the "Database Connection" by providing the filename of the database script and enter "file:" as "Host Name". I get "an error message" that i have attached.
