Report Designer showing text from no-data-band without spacing

Hi there,

i have overtaken a report from former colleague and are now observing some effects that i can't explain.

Basically the report is making use of subreports. In a sub-sub-sub-subreport i am adding a no-data-band. The resource-message-field in this band (may also be a label) show "some text". This text is then rendered in the preview mode to "sometext" (no wordspacing :-(. Since i am new to pentaho i ask if if might have over-seen some setting that prevents the word-spacing from beeing rendered? Or if something else is going wrong?
