Database connection

Hi all,

I have a question on db connections.
(I'm using PDI 3.2.0)
I have a transformation which contains a table output. Before this step, I put a "Filter rows" which is, if the connection is OK then go to the table output, else do something else. But it seems the connection is open when I launch my transformation. So if the connection is false, the transformation doesn't work and stops.
Is there a way to tell my transformation to open the connection only when I come to the table output ?

I don't know if I explain things clearly...
