Pentaho released version 5.0.
This is an amazing achievement! An effort that started in 2009 with a simple Jira asking for JCR support resulted, 4 years later, in the 5.0 release.
The first thing one will notice is a completely new / fresh UI. But there's a lot more to it. This release was a complete rewrite that provides an entirely new, scalable architecture to support the kind of fast developments needed to adapt to a technology world that's moving at an insane pace.
My personal congratulations to all the team responsible for this!!
This is certainly a time for celebrations. But not long - there's a 5.0 CE release to build! :)
