Hi Everybody,
Unfortunately i have a problem.
Kernel: Linux 2.6.*
GNOME 2.24
I want connect a SQL server 2008 DB (maybe it also Virtual machine) with JNDI connect type from SUSE Virtual Linux machine, but i get always this error message:"Invalid JNDI connection SQLServer2008 : The TCP/IP connection to the host localhost, port 1433 has failed. Error: "Connection refused: connect. Verify the connection properties. Make sure that an instance of SQL Server is running on the host and accepting TCP/IP connections at the port. Make sure that TCP connections to the port are not blocked by a firewall."
...Pentaho\4.2.0\libext\JDBC\sqljdbc4.jar OK.
TCP/IP ENABLE -->IP ALL sheet 1433 port in (MSSQL 2008 R2 Standard Edition) Conf. Manager.
The other day was same problem but this was localhost machine(Win XP) this solved! :) Look this picture(localmachine). I see a Dynamic Port 1073. I don't know who or what set this port number. :/ But is run and work! :) (it's a test environment)
sql_conf.jpg
So, i uploaded this one Spoon Job from local machine to SUSE ETL production server! Still doesn't work! Something is missing... :/
I have a ideas: Maybe, Is it doesn't work the JNDI connect from SUSE server to MS SQL SERVER?
Help me, if you can write or show something good!
Have a nice day!
Thanks!
Kind regards,
Pitt
