search table content

Hi,
I have a table like this:

ID - DATE
0 12-12-2012
1 12-12-2011
2 12-12-2010

I need to format the date with gg/mm/aaaa and i can do this into the Draw Function. The problem is that the search-field search strings into the old format.
How can i resolve this problem?
Is it possibile to change the source of the values into the Pre-Execution?
