But that was 2010 and I was wondering if PUC has any improvements on serving static files? I find it crucial that PUC is able to read static files such as XLS, ZIP, PDF, XML etc etc since Kettle is able to output those file types.
Is there or will there be a feature in PUC that lets us serve static files easily as downloads? Currently the only way for me to do it is through this guide: http://blogs.walkingtree.in/2013/05/...-user-console/
But that method limits me because I can't dynamically serve files.
For example every time a report is generated, it is given a unique date and the XLS is written to the BI solutions directory on the server. The method from Walkingtree doesn't give me that freedom to let customers choose which XLS file they want to download.
