Mysql version 5.5 Innodb good as repository for PDI?

Hi

Tried to google it and find from documentation but did not find it. Is it safe to assume that both 5.5 and 5.1.6 Innodb are good for PDI repository? (I am talking about EE)

We have all our systems in mysql so I want to use Percona Mysql as PDI repository server. (not default Postgres option)
