Pentaho thick client access in Linux version : Pentaho 4.8.2

Hi Team,

I am new to pentaho. I have downloaded Pentaho 4.8.2 linux version and installed in 64 bit machine. To start with the development , how i can access the thick clients like Report designer , PDI etc.

Is there any way to access these clients from the linux machine remotely.
