Why,reason for thaht: Publishing reports that use Transformation as a data source

I never seen this option and thanks to this topic(http://forums.pentaho.com/showthread...-a-data-source)

I look the report designer that option. But i don't know the Advantges do the report with a DataSource DataIntegration or when do we use it.
