Get XML Data Output fields

Hi,

I get the below error (ReferenceError: "DM" is not defined. (script#1)) when a field from a step before the "GET XML DATA" step is accessed by a step after "GET XML DATA". Please enlighten me as to why this error is occurring.

The ETL branches off in 3 different set of steps based on the values of the environment variables.
When the computed value of the environment variable is 3, the "GET XML DATA" (Process CE Device Delta Feed) is processed. After this step based on the value of environment variable (DM), further filtering needs to be done. Always the "false" part of the "Filter" step is executed. I added the "Scripts Vals/Mod" step to display the value of DM. This causes the below error. If any field from the XML file is read, the error does not exist but still the "false" part of the "Filter" step gets executed.
