Not starting Spoon

Hi,

Im unable to start Spoon. After reading forums, I tried even changing the value to increase memory. But still no luck. Spoon tool is not opening up
even after the change in settings:
set PENTAHO_DI_JAVA_OPTIONS="-Xmx1024m" "-XX:MaxPermSize=256m".


My system is having 2GB RAM. is it because of having less RAM, spoon was unable to start?
