Pentaho Reporting converting date incorrectly from Data Integration Step

Hello,

I have a pentaho report which calls a pentaho data integration step to fetch data. The data integration step correctly reads the date fields from a file. However, the pentaho report is converting (using the same format mask of "yyyy-mm-dd") dates from the integration step as follows:

2013-04-17 to 2013-01-17

2013-04-30 to 2013-01-30

Anybody have an idea why?

PS-regardless of which date format is used, dates are incorrectly converted.
