change number format

i'm using pentaho reporting tools report designer, jpivot and CDE.


I want using european number format (italy) in reports (###.###,00).


in pentaho report, the default is 1,234,567.00. I would like to 1.234.567,00
how can I change the format to italian format (European FORMAT) (###.###,00)??
i'm using linux and I extract data from database SQL Server. In SQL data are in european format (###.###,00)
