CSVTEXT function: what does the true/false parameter do?

Hi,

There are various references in the forums to the CSVTEXT function, and example look something like this...

=CSVTEXT([field];TRUE();",";"value'")

=CSVTEXT([field];FALSE();",";"value'")

Can someone explain the purpose of the TRUE()/FALSE() parameter?
