I've started experiencing a strange problem in PDI on my mac (mac mini with 16gb of ram).
PDI is running very slowly and then freezes, so a simple CSV input will take 5 minutes to get the fields but then hang when I try to scan the file.
The reason I think it might be a JVM problem is that it doesn't seem to matter which version of PDI I'm running. I've tried 4.3.0, 5.0.0 and 5.0.1 without any difference in performance. All of them freeze when trying to import this and other CSVs. I'm using a ktr which used to work fine and I can't think of anything that I've done with the machine that has changed the configuration.
I'm tempted to reinstall Java, but I'm not experienced in configuring Java, so I'm reluctant to go delving into stuff that might make anything worse.
The other option is probably backing everything up and then reinstalling the system.
