All of my jobs and transformations are stored in a file repository on my Windows client in my dev environment. I used kitchen on my client to run the jobs and that was fine. I use the ${Internal.Job.Repository.Directory} in the settings so it will get the directory reference when I move to the Unix environment. In production, I will be running the jobs by remoting into a Unix server where Pentaho is installed and running kitchen from the command line. I do not have the Spoon UI available to me on this server so I have to manually edit all the various files. My familiarity with Unix is not that great. I cannot find a repository.xml file to edit. Should I have brought the one from my Windows client over and if so, the base_directory element contains the escaped slashes and colons, etc. and should I then just edit it to reflect the changed directory structure? I have reviewed the documenation, but the assumption seems to be that you always have a UI available to do things and I don't. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
