CDE -- Navigation Menu Component

Hello, I am trying to introduce a Navigation Menu Component into my Dashboard and it's displaying all the files in my Browser window (Steel Wheels, etc.). I was just wondering how I could customize it so that it displays for only certain Solutions? Additionally when I click on the solution it redirects me to a webdetails page and I was hoping someone would know how to disable that (though ideally I would still be able to hover over the solution and select which dashboard from that solution I want to navigate too). That webdetails page looks like this:

Also, is there anyway to change the background color of the navigation menu component? I tried changing the background color in the HTML object but that didn't affect anything (the default color seems to be a blue-green.)
