File handling and eployment in Pentaho 5.1

Hi,

We have been using Pentaho BI Server 3.9 for deploying the ETL and reports. We used subversion to check in the ktr and kjb files in our remote server, and executed the jobs using kitchen from the server.

Now we want to upgrade to Pentaho 5.1. But as the file handling is different in 5.0 , [ The need for browsing the files and loading it from our local folder] ,we don't get the comfort of version control and the conventional develop-test-deploy way of working. Is there any way to handle this problem in Pentaho 5.
