Generate N rows for each record

Hi,
I need to generate 20 rows for each table1 (retrieve from a table with 200 records).
From table1 I use the code field (ex. AAA) and I generate AAA1 ....AAA20 records.
The total is 20*200=4000 records.

I usually implemented a job with 2 transformations and using "repeat for each record" option.

I wonder if it's a best practice or there's another way (maybe inside a single transformation only).
