Hi, I have a scenario in which I have a starting population that changes over time. Basically the first row holds a comma-separate list of persons in that populatation and whenever a change occurs a new, there is a new row with fields for OUTperson1 (i.e. "Leaves the poplation") and INperson1 (i.e. "Enters the population"). And I want to replace OUTperson1 with INperson1 in CurrentPopulation[i-1]

Here is the data:

the initial population for each bucket, here in red, is already given. I would have to have a script that calculates the italic values.

This has to be a javascript FOR or WHILE loop, right? I am pretty awful with javascript and have not been successful to get anything working.

I have created a report using PRD 5.0.2 where chart has been used for displaying data.

During execution of the report I have observed that in spite of executing the query once it is executing multiple times at database and causing severe performace issue.
Please suggest why the query is executing multiple times for chart and how to fix this issue.

Using Pentaho Report Designer I want to display both chart and its underlying data (in form of table) with single query execution.

Currently I have to create two prpt files to display chart and table (using sub reports) separately and both are in-turn firing multiple queries to display data.
In case of chart it is executing queries 2 times whereas for table its executing queries 7 times.

Please suggest how to generate chart and table using single query execution?

Hi,
after export my job with the option "Export linked resources to XML", i had a strange behaviour.

The first time that I run the job from kitchen it worked fine, but from the second time, kitchen returns me an error in in the loading
phase of the second transformation:

This is the error:

Unexpected error during transformation metadata load

Unable to read file [zip:file:///.......ktr]
Could not read from "zip:file:///......g.ktr" because it is a not a file.

Why? The reference to the transformation in the job file (of course for the first one and for the remainings) are in the form ${Internal.Job.Filename.Transformation}/trasf.ktr.

Any help is really appreciated.

Hi all,
I have developed various transformations having multiple "table inputs" followed by a "merge join" between them. Now i want each of the transformation to have a transactional behaviour, but as soon as i enable "make transformation database transactional" i get an error which says
"com.mysql.jdbc.RowDataDynamic@7c02dce0 is still active. No statements may be issued when any streaming result sets are open and in use on a given connection. Ensure that you have called .close() on any active streaming result sets before attempting more queries."

Can u guys help me on this???

hi,
We are evaluating Pentaho EE for our requirements.
Our OLAP model is snowflake based.

I am unable to create a datasource which is based on the snowflake model to evaluate interactive reporting.

In the data source wizard, I am not allowed to create a data source for analysis reporting unless the schema is star schema only.
