Guys,
I built a Mondrian schema with 4 shared dimensions attached to a single cube and a degenerate dimension on this same cube. I got this schema through Pentaho Aggregation Designer and exported the updated schema. This new schema had no signal of the degenerate dimension!!! It was just removed!
I am with (Sun?) Java 1.6.20 and suite 4.8 baseline (BI Server CE 4.8, PSW 3.5, PAD 1.5) in an Ubuntu 10.04 32-bit box.
Has anybody ever heard about it? I could not find any Jira refering to it, nor any other fora post...
It is not really a problem because I found I can re-add the DD later and it does not compromisses aggregation performance. I have attached some files about this case, with Mondrian output and a chart comparing three cases (no PA/DD, PA without DD, PA and DD) in case somebody wants to have some more info.
Best regards,
