I am completely new to pentaho data integration. What I know is as a ETL tool it will read rows from database and in parallel insert into another database.
What my requirement is
1. We have rows in a table which contains entries analogous to bank transactions.
2. Transactions of all users are kept in same table.
3. We want to read data from this table and as a output want to perform some action (we wont copy it to another database)
4. We require processing of rows of same user has to be done in order.
5. Processing of rows belongs to different user can be done in parallel.
Can we do it using pentaho? Is pentaho best suited for this use case?
What I have read is we can do sequencing, but it will consider all rows at a time not few selected rows as in my case.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance :)
