I have a transformation where I need to pass a filename to a sub-transformation, which will then read the file and take some appropriate actions.
I created the subtransformation first and verified that it runs correctly, then modified into a mapping by attaching a Mapping Input Specification which passes a field to the Text File Input that starts the standalone version, and telling the Text File Input to get the filename from the field.
The file I want it to read lives in a directory for temporary working files I've created.
The standalone version has no trouble finding c:\ph\tmp\Master.txt (I'm working in Windows).
The mapping version fails with a FileNotFoundException because it can't find c:\Users\york\Kettle-4-4\data-integration-4.4.0\c:\ph\tmp\Master.txt.
Why is it prefixing my Kettle installation directory when I'm giving it a complete path descriptor?
More to the point, how can I stop this unwanted behavior?
