Integrating / embedding Pentaho Reports in another web application

Hi,

Currently we are evaluating Pentaho BA server (in Windows based machine) where we need to consume a report (prpti or .xanalyzer format) to another web application through web service. Can you please provide step by step method to achieve the same. For your additional information, these reports (prpti or .xanayzer) are saved or available in /home/admin path (based on the properties of the file saved). Also do let us know where these files created through Pentaho BA server (User console) is getting stored in the file system. This is because the document "Embed BA into Web Applications" of pentaho denotes a REST API call using the path variable (to hold the path of reports for embedding into another web application), however we are unable to find that path in the filesystem where the server is installed for evaluation.

Note: Although we have read the document "Integrating_biServer.pdf" (Embed BA into Web Applications), however we are not clear on how to achieve this above requirement. It would be useful if the Pentaho team can provide examples on how to embed reports into another web application using step by step approach which anyone can understand.
