I am not sure of the proper terms for describing my issue, but I will try my best to be clear.
I am generating departmental reports for various divisions within an organization. The number of departments in a given division vary. There may be as few as 1 or as many as 10 departments in a division.
The end user would like a report that populates data for each department within a division, totaling the data at the right side of the form. The purpose of the report is for comparative analysis between departments.
I build reports that scale vertically as input variables change, but can I do the same thing on a horizontal basis? I would like to create this report so that it automatically generates and populates an appropriate number of departmental columns when a division is selected. The data generated must reflect departmental and financial class grouping.
