cde components in pentaho 5.0.1

I am not able to install custom components for cde in Pentaho 5.0.1 .
I tried to put the files (components.xml and javascript) in two places :

1. in the folder public/cde of the jackrabbit repository
2. in the folder cde (manually created ) unter the root of the repository solutions ( as for release 4.x )

but the components doesn't appear in the component panel ( non javascript error or server side ) .
I have checked the file settings.xml of cde plugin and it seems to indicate that the components must be placed under the folder cde in the Pentaho solution root .

Also the link to clear the cde cache http://myserver:8080/pentaho/content...cdf-dd/Refresh does not work anymore .
I used to set the debug mode in the plugin.xml file but this has changed and I no longer know how to do .
